- Introductory – rides are over flat or undulating terrain and normally about 25 miles.
- Moderate B – An example ride might be 30 - 40 miles at a speed of 10 - 12 mph on rolling terrain including short uphill and downhill sections.
- Intermediate C – for riders who want to go a little further and already have some hill confidence or are keen to develop. A typical ride would be about 50 miles. Speed will vary, maybe 12mph average (depending on terrain).
- Advanced D – for riders with experience. A typical route would be over 60 miles with speed varying according to terrain and the group.
